What is the difference between a mini session and a full session? Is 15 minutes enough time?

Quite simply, the mini session is easier on your wallet, and while it includes less images and less shooting time, you still get the same beautiful, quality images as the full session. I often don't include props in these sessions, so the full package definitely has its benefits! Plus you will get more shooting time with that, so obviously, more images too! I recommend the full sessions for families and for littles under five years old. Please note I only provide the full session for newborns - so while 15 minutes is enough time for most, it's definitely not enough for babies since they have more unpredictable needs.

Where do your sessions take place?

I shoot all over the greater Cleveland area. Typically I shoot outdoors, in parks and similar settings. There's so many beautiful spots to choose from between Rocky River all the way to Medina!

Can we do an indoor session?

Absolutely! I recommend these for small family sessions and newborn sessions. There's a bit of more detail that goes into these since I'm entering your personal space but we can definitely make it work. 

​

What do we wear?

I recommend neutral colors year round. Dark denim or kakis for guys. Close-toed shoes for everyone, especially for outdoor sessions. Bloomers for toddlers (to hide diapers) and bike shorts under dresses for little girls. The more simple, coordinated and fitted, the better!

Editing is the key to beautiful and crisp images. The photos above are a before and after that I think explains really well why editing is so important! The first photo is the RAW file straight off the camera - the sceond was perfected with Adobe editing programs

Can I get a customized or themed session? 

You absolutely can! I advertise for special packages and sessions frequently year round. For example, mothers day or holidays are great times for any custom details or themes you have in mind. I always provide autumn and Christmas mini's, so be sure to check the "info" page to find out more or email me directly for specials. My Instagram page also gives lots of fun sneak peeks and keeps you in the loop on any flash sales/sessions!

What if I'm camera shy?

You won't be within seconds of shooting! I do my best to make you feel comfortable, give you posing prompts and help you feel attractive and at ease during your session.

What is your editing style? 

Like many layers of the industry, it's always changing! Somedays I'm feeling moody, earthy tones and styles, but my go-to is bright, colorful and radiant. I like to fuzz out the edges or soften texture for a summery, golden aesthetic. 

​

Why do you book only in the morning and evening? 

Soft light means less harsh shadows and sun spots. My favorite times to shoot are before 10am and an hour before sunset and those times are key to snapping beautiful shots. Don't worry if you have a cloudy day- that works beautifully as well.

This seems pricey for just a few photos. Why should I pay this amount?

This is a interpersonal experiences and I want to provide you with the best product I am able to. Beyond clicking the shutter, I take the time to get to know you, hand edit your images, and get them delivered to you in the most timely manner! Overall, there's definitely some extensive time, energy and detail that goes into maintaining a small business, perfecting my craft, fine tuning my skill set, and giving you the best possible fun and quality experience as a result!

Is there a fee for additional images? 

There are additional fees if you would like to purchase any images not included in your package's set number. There are likewise additional fees for any specific editing requests or printing requests.
